Our very Own Bliss Windlow Wins a “Fabbie.”
Earlier this week , Bliss Windlow was awarded a “Fabbie” by It’s Only Fashion’s Gidge Uriza and/or Cajsa Lilliehook.
This award recognizes excellence in blogging where ever it is seen. Gidge state Bliss was awarded the “Fabbie,” …..”because she made me cry with laughter on the post Why Amateurs Should Never Explain the Gorean Way – Especially to a Feminist. “
She also states, “Oh BLISS you have slain me on a day when I had to get out of bed and face the dragon. I am absolutely in tears considering exactly how this conversation went. “
Bliss Windlow writes a number of blogs ranging from humour, social commentary, inspirtational and fashion. We just know her as “Blissy” .. the hired help and yes, she keeps us crying too (and I mean that in a good way).

Grif is a musician in the style of Hendrix, Deep Purple, Wishbone Ash & Gary Moore. Grif was a Touring Sound Engineer for many great Rock Bands for 20 years, before finding Second Life and finally becoming a gigging Musician. His Guitar screams, and for all axeman fans going to a Grif Bamaison Gig is a must see in Second Life! Rockcliff University is the only True Virtual University in Second Life. It is not attached to any real life University, and this year they are applying for Accreditation. They hold conferences, classes, lectures, and discussions. Its run by academic volunteers right now, and is non-profit in status. Phelan Corrimol is the Dean of Rockcliff University and this week he will be filling us in on what goes on there, the future of the university, and why its so unique.

Paisley Beebe is Looking for Personal Sponsorship
Paisley Beebe is one of the few Performing Artists in Second Life that plays live music with a real life band in Second Life. Most Artists in Second Life are solo artists that play an instrument and sing, or they sing and use a “backing tape”.
Paisley had a dream when she entered Second Life to provide as close to a Real Life experience as she could with her Music Shows, and has steadfastly maintained that dream of providing professional Real Life Backing Bands to accompany her on her Second Life journey.
In Real Life Paisley works as Leonie Smith a professional working Jazz Vocalist of some 16 years standing, she plays music with the very best professional musicians that Australia has to offer, and she brings those Real Life seasoned professionals into Second Life with her, but….she pays them to do so. These musicians, (with her Husband Guitarist Freddy Halderman being the exception), are providing their accompaniment at a discounted price but it costs paisley between $60 and $80 U.S per session per musician to hire them.
Second Life so far is not a user pays system when it comes to Music, some of the audience tip performers with tips and mostly under a dollar in value, and the venues often don’t even pay a fee to musicians, at all, for special events that do pay a fee, Paisley is lucky to cover her expenses if at all.
In order to keep up this high standard Paisley has had to radically reduce the amount of live gigs she plays in Second Life, as financially she is running constantly at a huge loss to provide this standard of music to her audience. and sales of MP3′s are not cutting it to make up for the loss. “Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe” her TV Chat Show while being Second Life’s highest rated show is also unpaid work for her, at the moment, and is only just now also seeking sponsorship and Advertising.
Paisley is without doubt one of Second Life’s most famous singers and celebrities and with her huge audience, as a singer and as Host of the most popular TV show in Second Life, Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe she can promote your buisness very effectively If you wish to be her personal sponsor. Many many thousands of Real Life and Second Life viewers watch her shows every week.
